It's Not For Everyone

Last fall I had surgery to fix torn cartilage in my knee. It was originally injured when I was 15 years old, then aggravated in June, 2017, and finally blown out in March 2018 while squatting 300 pounds.

I'm not 40 years old any more. :(

That injury and surgery threw me down the "no fitness" well. Finally, this past January (2019), after a week in New Orleans of rich foods and wonderful adult beverages, I reached bottom and returned to the gym.

I've not missed a workout since. I'm getting dialed in on my nutrition as well (shout out to TestMax Nutrition) and it's wonderful. My strength is returning. I'm being very careful to stop lifting heavy -- which is a bummer -- but I'm still enjoying revived health and vitality. My energy levels are up.

Best of all, my mental health and clarity is through the roof good. I don't know if I've ever been happier, more focused and strong. It's a wonderful blessing.
