We Need Higher Gasoline Taxes

The Federal government should put a big tax on gasoline, along the lines of one or two dollars. Then, combine that with a graduated Tax Credit under a certain income amount.

Me? I'd end up paying more. Yeah, but I'd either purchase a more fuel-efficient vehicle or drive less.

Google "Amory Lovins winning the oil end game" and read it. NOW. If you don't, then don't bother commenting on this post. Amory Lovins -- whom I have called a GENIUS for over 25 years -- OWNS the whole energy issue.

All The Best,

An article by Greg Mankiw making the case for significantly higher gasoline tax was what prompted me to start blogging. You can read what I wrote about it in September here.
