A California judge ruled in favor of gay marriage on Monday.
Finally, a victory for individual liberty. If two people love each other and want to "tie the knot", then who are we to stand in their way?
As long as churches are not forced to hold marriage ceremonies for gay couples (which would go against many religious teachings), then I'm all for this decision.
I wonder, though ... will they be allowed to divorce? After all, that seems to be quite popular among heterosexual couples.
(N.B. I'm not saying that people should never divorce, so don't take offense where there is none intended.)
